Invest Alongside a Manager with a 40-Year Track Record
Private real estate has long been a cornerstone of institutional portfolios, but individual investors have often had limited access to the asset class - or have had to invest through pooled funds and intermediaries.
Lightstone DIRECT offers a different approach. Accredited investors can invest directly in select real estate opportunities alongside Lightstone, a vertically integrated owner/operator with more than four decades of experience and a $12 billion real estate portfolio.
We invest 20% or more of the equity in every offering, aligning our interests with yours from day one. Our in-house team oversees acquisitions, asset management, and investment execution, with property operations managed by Lightstone and, where appropriate, experienced third-party operators.
No blind funds. No intermediaries. Just direct partnership.
Accredited Investors only. $100k minimum investment.

Remembering Duane Allman, 55 Years Later
Thursday marked 55 years since we lost Duane Allman. On October 29, 1971, he was riding his motorcycle in Macon, Georgia, when a truck stopped short in front of him. He died hours later. He was only 24. Think about how much he packed into that time. He backed Aretha Franklin and Wilson Pickett as a session player, played that slide on Derek and the Dominos’ Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs, and started The Allman Brothers Band with his brother Gregg. At Fillmore East came out just three months before the crash, and plenty of folks still call it the greatest live record ever made. The band finished Eat a Peach with what he’d already recorded. Put on Fillmore East this weekend and let it run. Skydog forever.
Ozzy & Sabbath’s Farewell Is Coming Home
Couldn’t make it to the theater this week? Back to the Beginning hits Blu-ray, CD, vinyl and digital on December 11th, just in time for the holidays. You get the full Ozzy and Black Sabbath sets, the Sounds of Birmingham documentary, Jack Black tearing through “Mr. Crowley,” and a batch of video tributes, including a sweet one from Dolly Parton: “I love you, always have.” The vinyl comes in black, purple splatter, silver splatter and metallic. And if you’re a die-hard with deep pockets, a deluxe box set lands April 23rd with all 35 songs from the show, a hardback book and an Ozzy pendant necklace. Santa, I’ve been good this year. Mostly.
